Abstract

he aim of this paper is to analyze the current geopolitical role of the Republic of Paraguay, speciically in the dynamics of relationships in the Southern Cone. Due to the nineteenth century is the context of formation of the Paraguayan State as at the same time, it represents the context of genesis of its geopolitical role, in order to have a more complete view of the above objective is reviewed this historical period.
