In recent decades, Argentina has shown a fluctuating behavior in world trade, with a participation that has oscillated between decline and stagnation. Many factors have contributed to this performance, including deficiencies in logistics, both those related to public policies, such as infrastructure or customs operations, as well as in generally private sphere, such as the logistics services available to exporters. Argentina’s logistics performance in the 2017-2018 period does not show any improvement, so public policy actions should focus both on the development of those components that are under state regulation and on the impulse to the actors involved towards a logistics that becomes a true ally of exporters.
